HELP END HUNGER

Ninecooks' Lydia Walshin has served on the advisory board and as a volunteer for Operation Frontline, a Share Our Strength program in Boston that sends professional chefs into community agencies to teach nutrition and cooking to families at risk of hunger. For several years she taught nutrition and cooking at the Mary E. Sargent House to women who had been incarcerated, and their children. In 2002 she created Drop In & Decorate^SM Cookies for Donation, serving emergency shelters and food pantries all around Rhode Island.
